About the night
Join us at the legendary 100 Club in London for an intimate evening with one of Britain's most respected drummers. The night opens with a long-form interview, followed by an audience Q&A - your chance to ask Steve about his career, his craft, and the stories from the road.
Then the trio takes over. Steve White, Chris Hague, and Joel White have been touring on the back of Steve's recent album Soul Drums (Acid Jazz Records), and they're bringing the full live show to the 100 Club for one night only.
Expect the rhythmic vocabulary that's defined Steve's career - stickings drawn from Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich, paradiddles, triplets, flams, polyrhythms, and grooves that move from disco to samba and everywhere in between. A masterclass and a gig, in one room.
